How hot are Sevilla and Granada in mid September? Are accomadations hard to obtain? Planning on seven days between the two. Holding off booking until the La Liga schedule comes out in mid July. Will that be too late?

First , a disclaimer , We were in Spain last September - October for six weeks , there was a heat wave that covered a good deal of Western and Central Europe at that time , an anomaly , to be sure . Even after things had moderated in places like London and Vienna , Spain was still unbearably HOT ( mid - nineties in Sevilla and Granada ) Evidently , this is an anecdotal example , but it was brutal . Fortunately , being museum lovers , our stay in Madrid was tolerable due to the presence of the trio of great art museums there .

It's true that Andalusia is quite hot, even into Sep/Oct but you will find respite in more air conditioned venues whilst there, than say if that heatwave spread to cities in Central Europe.
