We took a taxi here: http://www.espacioeslava.com/en. The tapas bar was jammed and we knew it would be that way. After a full day we reserved the restaurant. The website says clearly the tapas will not be served in the restaurant, but several were. The food was fabulous. We were the only English speaking patrons that I could tell but the waiter spoke English.

Hi Pepita,

Loved the Bodega Santa Cruz which was right around the corner from our hotel. Very crowded, inexpensive and old school. Order and eat at the bar and they will keep track with chalk marks in front of your place to tally up the order. One of the bartenders was a big flirt and my husband had and she had a great time bantering back and forth in his broken Spanish. Here is the link from TripAdvisor to give you the feel of the place:.https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187443-d1203721-r328827380-Bodega_Santa_Cruz_Las_Columnas-Seville_Province_of_Seville_Andalucia.html.

Enjoy Sevilla.

Bodega Santa Cruz is one of my favorite places anywhere, full stop. Just a chalkboard list of tapas and montaditos that get rapidly crossed off as the night goes on. Tapas are cheap and they crank them out fast. It’s an awesome place to order at random and see what you get! Go for lunch, go back for dinner. If they have pringa, get it!

Hola from Wisconsin,

Here are two restaurants that serve up some really nice food. And their location will get you a nice walk north of the cathedral and on your way to the parasol or umbrella, whatever it is called, it is smashing at night. A purpose built shade maker surrounded by taverns/restaurants and filled with youth.

Tradevo. there are several of these in the city. Traditional and Evolving = TradEvo. A bit toward the expensive side. You will most likely need reservations but you can do it using email. Very easy. Find the one between the streets: Huelva and Rosario.

Fargo. Well there is name. I promise you now snow or wood choppers. It is more of a farm to table restaurant. We had a great time there. The food was done to perfection. It is a few twists and turns away from TradEvo still heading mostly north toward the Umbrella.

This area gets you outside of tourist groups which is nice. Not away from tourists of 2, 3 or 4 but more locals than us. Don't worry, those teenagers you see are university students more interested in Music and beer than you. Also some fantastic Flamenco dress shops.
