Sevilla/Cordoba - How to split 8 nights?

I'm planning an 8-night trip focused on sinking into Sevilla with a day trip to Cadiz and a pass through Cordoba. Traveling Nov 16-24 round trip from Madrid.

My current plan is to arrive Sevilla late afternoon on the 16th, and spend 7 nights—6 full days including the Cadiz day trip. An early-ish departure on the 23rd for one night in Cordoba. I don't have to be in Madrid until around 9pm, so a late departure on the 24th will give me nearly two full days.

I'm not concerned about over-staying Sevilla with 5 days. But am I short-changing Cordoba? (Or Cadiz?)

Take a train to and from Cadiz to give it a full day.
Such an historic and intriguing city. Cordoba looks OK with two days.

One night in Cordoba is good, but two nights are better. Cordoba is twice as large as Cádiz.

I agree with Carlos. I would spend 2 nights in Cordoba. We loved it. In addition to the Mezquita, there are other interesting and fascinating sites. Such as the Alcazar, Roman Bridge, Palacio de Viana, Mercado Victoria, and exploring the Juderia.

Just curious. Have you been to Granada? I can't imagine going to Andalusia and not visiting the Alhambra.

Thanks, all.

At this point, I'm thinking of dropping the day trip to Cadiz and spending two nights in Cordoba. I'll get back to Cadiz for a long weekend sometime—maybe not before I move to Madrid in a few years, but I'll get there...
