Sevilla Cathedral - website sold me a ticket 30 minutes before closing time?

I just bought a set of tickets to visit the cathedral on a Monday at 3:00. I was updating some of my records and then I hit the website which shows the Cathedral closes at 3:30 on Mondays. I tried to email the cathedral but the email address on the website just bounced back to me. Here is the website: http://www.catedraldesevilla.es/cultural-visit/

Obviously 30 minutes isn't enough. I think they'd know that as well though so I'm guessing we can stay in the church longer than the closing time? Any experience?

wouldn't that be frowned upon? Are they known to allow folks to enter earlier than the appointed time?

I'd follow up on this if you can figure out a way to do so. Half an hour seems sort for a visit to a major church.

I note that the website shows a closing time of 4 PM on Mondays during July and August. Are you perhaps traveling during one of those months?

In the link you provided, on the calendar on the right for every Monday I click on in March I see "Visita Cultural Gratuita (Reserva Anticipada) 16:30 - 18:00". In English this means there is a free time (without paying) to visit the cathedral from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, but it requires advanced booking. Maybe they will not kick you out if your visit cuts into this free time, as you have a ticket.

Thank you for that! I hadn't seen it. so I think we try to get there a bit early to possibly have a bit longer with thinner crowds. Thank you for this information!
