Sevilla Cathedral Guided Rooftop visit on website - does it include the cathedral?

Hello, I was reading about the guided rooftop visit (NOT the Giralda tower climb) in RS's "Best of Spain" and saw that it included the cathedral entrance. I also found this same info in some other sources. However, when I select that tour option on www, catedraldesevilla.es, and scroll down to "Visit Information" (which I had to take a photo to put into Google Translate, even though I have selected the English option), it says "The visit to the Cathedral and the Giralda is not included in this guided tour. I would definitely like to have the rooftop visit AND see the Cathedral. Does anyone know how to best do that? Also, it says "Pensioners' Entry Ticket + Audioguide
Over 65 years old (accreditation will be required in access control)
11,00 €

Does this mean the discount is only for residents of Spain (similar to some other attractions in Spain), or does it include anyone who is age 65 or older? My husband and I are both 65, and are US citizens.

Thank you in advance if you can clarify this for me!

According to the cathedral website it simply says those over 65 are eligible for the pensioner rate. Nothing says you need to be from the EU to get the retired rate, so you should be fine.

The guided rooftop tour is just that, the roof; not the cathedral or Giralda tower. It goes on to essentially say that you need to be in good physical shape; no vertigo, cardio problems, mobility issues, etc. Those over 70 will need sign a provided document to assume responsibility in the event of a problem. Not that it should need to mention the obvious, but most of the tour is outdoors so weather could be an issue.

For what you want to see, it appears you’d want the rooftop tour ticket (20€) as well as the Cathedral, tower and Salvador church (6€) ticket. An audio guide would be an additional 4€ or 5€ depending which version you purchase.

I came on here to research this exact question, only to find that you asked it just hours ago! :) The official website is quite confusing (I’m sure it’s just a translation issue), so thank you, Jaime, for the clarification.

Yes, thank you! I had also emailed the cathedral, and received this back:

Good morning
The visit to the roofs as the official websites https://www.catedraldesevilla.es/visita-cultural/ does NOT include the visit to the cathedral and giralda.
Discount for people over 65 years old is available for persons from all countries.
Kind Regards.

So, the first paragraph on page 346 of the third edition of RS's Best of Spain appears to be incorrect. I have filled out the RS feedback page with this updated info.
