Sevilla bus station closed?

I am beginning to look at transportation for October. I got on the Los Amarillos site to check out buses from Sevilla to Ronda. I get a message saying the station is temporarily closed. I tried an earlier date in August just to see if the problem was that I was looking too far ahead, but I got the same message. Does anybody have any info on the El Prado de San Sebastian bus station being temporarily closed in Sevilla?

Jennie,

What's the link to the website you used when you got the message that the bus station is closed?

  • Keep in mind that it's too early to buy bus tickets for October.

  • However, you can get an idea of the bus schedules if you check for
    dates in August here: https://regular.autobusing.com/venta#

  • There is no need to buy bus tickets in advance. You can buy your
tickets when you arrive to Sevilla (or any other city in Spain)

  • Do you plan to visit Granada before visiting Sevilla? If so, it makes
more sense to travel to Ronda (from Granada), enroute to Sevilla.

I just checked the website (given above) again (in English) & I got this message for September or October dates:

"Departure: No services"

When I checked the website in Spanish, this is the message I get: "Ida: Venta anticipada todavía no disponible para la fecha seleccionada"

Translation:

Departure: Advance sale not yet available for the selected date.

Bottom line... It's too early to buy tickets for October.

The website I was using was www.losamarillos.es, from the RS book. I was vaguely aware that it was too early to buy online but I wanted to see what the schedules were like and then was surprised to see the message about the station being closed. I will check out the website you recommended to get an idea of the schedules. We are flying in to Sevilla and traveling to Ronda en route to Granada. We will be in Sevilla 3 nights so it sounds like we would be just fine buying our tickets when we arrive. Thanks for your help!
