Semana Santa Andalusia

Booked a timeshare week in Malaga for Semana Santa. Brilliant or crazy idea? We want to visit Seville, Rondo, little white-washed towns, Gibraltar, ? Should be a very interesting time culturally, but will it be super crowded everywhere? We were going to rent a car - will it be impossible to park?

My opinion is, a brilliant idea. Will it be crowded when there are processions, most definitely. Will it be hard to find parking, possibly, depending on when you arrive to view the festivities. Sevilla is known for its Semana Santa so it will probably be busy all week. The smaller towns will be less crowded and the processions smaller, but will be more intimate and therefore, possibly more enjoyable. With only a week, I’m not certain I’d try to fit in Gibraltar.

Earstine,
I've visited Andalucía, but not during Semana Santa.

Do expect huge crowds and noisy nights during Semana Santa in Sevilla, and pretty much in all of Andalucía.

Accommodations book quickly and they're also more expensive during this week.

If you plan to visit Granada, you'll want to book your Alhambra tickets 3 months in advance.

I doubt you'll have time to visit all the destinations on your list in a weeks time
