Does anyone know of a good self guided or audio tour of this area of Spain? We have about 5 hours between flights (allowing an additional 2.5 for transfers to and from BCN and wanted to do some exploring

I think Rick has one in his book. I'm not absolutely sure because I took the tour offered by the touriet office--which was excellent but ran no more than once a day, so it's unlikely to fit your schedule.

We took the free "Runner Bean" tour of this area and thought it was excellent. Something like this is great if it can fit into your limited time in Barcelona. As previously discussed check RS Spain Book for self guided tour. Enjoy this amazing area!

Someone posted that we'd need a Svengen (sp) Visa to exit and reenter BCN? Can you explain? We arrive at 9:25 with only checked luggage and depart at 6:25 for Prague. I' allowing 1 1/2 hours to get out of BCN and to the city (eta 11 am) and leaving the city at 4 pm to return to BCN for our flight...sound doable?
