Segrada Familia Tickets in Advance?

I am sure this has been posted, but I cannot find it. Ugh!

I am trying to book tickets to La Segrada Familia in May. As I look at the official La Segrada Familia site, May is not showing up yet. I thought I read somewhere that you can start booking 3 months in advance or something? How early can you start booking? Thanks.

On the site it says that "The times and days when the Sagrada Familia is open to the public may occasionally be modified by the management due to special events taking place inside the basilica."

They have an email you can contact them to see how far you can book in advance: [email protected]

It appears they just haven't opened May up for booking yet. Perhaps it will happen in the next day or two.

Do not panic. It's not that hard to get tickets. La Sagrada Familia doesn't sell out months in advance like the Alhambra. When I visited in August 2016, the tourist office told me 24 hours in advance was usually fine for getting tickets unless I wanted the first time slot of the day, in which case 48 hours ahead was recommended. I am not guaranteeing that the situation is exactly the same this year, much less for every day of the year, but as you can see, it's not generally a problem.

Patience, but for sure book in advance for a tour. We were there in January and a reservation was even imp then. Book the tour for sure. We did a self visit 3yrs ago but then this January booked a tour with a guide. It was even more intersting and symbolism we did nit notice before.

Thanks for the information. Being a highly prized ticket, just wanted to be sure I was not missing something. The La Segrada Familia Ticket Watch continues......lol
