Segovia or Avila?

I liked Segovia. The Roman Aqueduct is a masterpiece the cathedral there is worth a look. You could probably cover Segovia and Avila in the same day; we went to see El Escorial and to Segovia on a long summer daylight day.

Segovia. Avila is nice for a half day at most. Segovia is fairly compact and easily walkable. It's main attractions are the Alcazar and the Roman aqueduct. It's worth a full day.

Segovia, without a doubt. Avila is a wall and--for me--not much else.
