Segovia Day trip via train from Madrid - things to see

We will be doing a day trip from Madrid via train to Segovia. Question is will we have enough time to see the following:

Aqueduct
Alcazar
Cathedral
City walls

I believe we will be arriving at 9:30 and departing at 6:30 pm

Trying to decide if I should get the tickets for both the Cathedral and the Alcazar assuming we can accomplish all of this in our alloted time or is this too aggressive.

Thanks

The Alcázar will probably take 2-3 hours to visit if you’ve never been to it before. You can’t miss the aqueduct since it goes right through the center of town. The part of the wall that may be the most interesting is the part by Puerta de San Andrés. That section is near the cathedral and won’t take long to see and should be sufficient for the time you have.

Segovia is really small. You can easily walk between all of the sights you list, although it is hilly. I would start with when you can get tickets to the Alcazar and the Cathedral and go from there. I don't recall the Alcazar taking very long; the cathedral will depend on if you are doing the tower tour (it's a climb, but amazing views). You can walk between the two in about 10-15 minutes, so you could schedule both in the afternoon easily. The aqueduct is another 10 minutes downhill from the cathedral. I would suggest perhaps taking a car from the train station to Plaza Azoquejo, see the aqueduct, have some coffee. Walk up to see the cathedral, find some lunch (we loved La Almuzara), tour the cathedral then head to the alcazar. If you have time, head back down to the plaza and get a car back to the station, or get one at the alcazar or Plaza Mayor (cathedral).

jaimeelsabio - any idea how long to allot for visiting the Cathedral itself. Looks like the tower tour is 1 hour .
Also if we do the tower at the Alcazar would the Cathedral tower be redundant?

If you are taking the train, you'll get off at the train station and need to catch the local
bus/taxi into town, as well as reverse that process to catch the train back to Madrid. All
told, that will probably reduce your time on the ground by maybe an hour. Having said
that, I think you can still see everything in the 7-8 hours you'll have.

You can also take a bus from Madrid Moncloa to Segovia. It takes longer but drops you
off right in town, so kind of a wash since it's a short walk from the aqueduct back to the
bus station.

Anyone know if the general visit tickets for the Cathedral timed entry or they valid for anytime on the date of the ticket? I didnt see a way to specify time when attempting to purchase the ticket online
