Segovia Day Trip from Madrid

Hello!

We are taking the Avant train from Madrid's Chamartin Station in September. From the train station in Segovia, we know to catch the #11 bus which will take us directly to the Aqueduct, but when we are ready to depart, does this same #11 bus pick us up at Aqueduct or at other locations to return us to the train station? Is the Chamartin Station complicated?

Thanks for any insight or tips.

Chamartin station is very easy. It's just a one-level concourse, with the platforms in numerical order (you go downstairs to get on the trains). I have been to Segovia, but didn't take the bus (though I am sure it goes back to the station). There is a lot to see besides the aqueduct, so you might be in another part of town when you are ready to go back, anyway. I would ask for a route map at the station in Segovia.

The busses come and go from the large plaza in front of the aqueduct. They do not go into the old town, which is largely traffic free. So whenever you are ready to return, walk back to the plaza and catch the return bus to the station.
