Seeking Northern Spain Coastal Town Recommendation

Hello!

For a minimum two week stay in mid-July we are seeking Northern Spain Coastal Town/Region with the following criteria:
-Beautiful Coastal Scenery
-Not a City,
-Historic Architecture (not necessarily large and magnificent, quaint and charming are both good)
-Variety of Restaurants (excellent seafood preferred) within 20 miles (will have a car)
-Safe/Peaceful Setting/Community
-Not Buried in Tourists

Since you didn’t specify which part of the coast, two that come to mind are Getaria and Zumaia. Further west is Ribadeo and that area. With a car, there are any number of places to visit.

Lots of good prospects, have a look at Ribadesella, Llanes, Comillas, Lastres. All the coastal towns are very appealing. Seafood? Not a problem these are fishing villages. I don’t know about crowds in mid July though.
