Seeking Itinerary suggestions, help and advise

We are a group of 8 traveling thru Spain. We have approximately 2 1/2 weeks to do so. It might be ambitious, but to eliminate one location from the other seems a difficult task.
We've come up with a plan but we are open to suggestions from those who have travelled the area and are familiar with traveling on small airlines and driving the highways
Here we go.....

Arrive in Seville- stay 3 nights
Booked a hotel
Feria d'Abril going on, arriving on last day of festival
Planning on mostly visiting the city

Rent car and drive to Torrox- stay 4 nights
Rented seaside condo
Day trips to Visit Alhambra, Nerja, Marbella etc

Fly from Marbella to Valencia- stay 3 nights
Rented apt in city
Visiting the city sights

Fly to Mallorca- stay 3 nights
No accommodations yet, suggestions????
Is 3 nights too much?
Would stay mostly in Palma, visit city sights

Fly to Barcelona
Pick up rental car
Drive to Penedes region
Rented small house stay 4-5 nights
Visit vineyards, small towns, Barcelona (40 mins drive)
Husbands plan on taking in F1 race

Our last night would be spent in Barcelona
Return rental car
Take in city night life for our last night

Too ambitious?????

I believe three night minimum is great and helps balance out the trip.
I think traveling w 8 folks is crazy!

So a couple of thoughts......
Ask everyone to buy into speaking the unvarnished truth about what they want to gain from this journey. Then ask what they are willing to do or sacrifice in order to help all travelers strive to obtain their goals.
Finally, make it clear no one should become annoyed if anyone needs some "me" time in order to preserve their sanity.

Although we are a group of 8, we are not joined at the hip! I travelled with 22 family members last year in Tuscany for 2 weeks. travel plans were discussed the night before, you choose who you want to sightsee with. It worked out great.
Just not sure about Mallorca....... I would rather spend more time in Penedes region, I suppose we could branch off and re-group

Sounds okay, as long as you've factored in the travel time. Flying eats up a lot of time - packing, getting to airport, check-in and security, waiting for luggage after landing, getting to next destination. European flights often have lower free luggage allowances than the trans-Atlantic flights. Watch out for hefty charges.

How many cars are you planning to rent for the 8 of you? 4 in a compact car can be a tight squeeze. Large cars can be very difficult to maneuver and park in small towns.

As far as car rentals, we are looking at renting 2 vans, 7 passenger, to allow for luggage capacity. I've learned my lesson on packing, we used packing cubes last trip, they are awesome. Packing and unpacking, although inconvenient, the packing cubes make it so much easier. Our travel time in vans is fairly limited. When in large city centers we don not have vehicles. My husband is used to those narrow streets having travels thru Italy last year. Just not sure on Majorca. Can't really find too many reviews on whether it's worth going. We are already spending time on the coast while in Torrox. Any thoughts from those who have been????
