We are trying to figure out the best option on travel from Saville to the South of Portugal (Algarve-Lagos/Salema) that will save us time and of course money as we want to end our trip in Lisbon to fly out to Barcelona. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I assume you mean Seville/Sevilla? Bus or flying are your options to Lisbon . The bus goes theough the Algarve so that fits your plans best.
assuming you mean Seville the obvious choice (the only direct one) is the bus. They run several times per day between Seville and Faro, there are some trips that go all the way to Lagos. For those that end at Faro there are frequent onward buses to destinations all over the Algarve region.

We are doing the same trip as part of a 5 week trip in Spain and Portugal. We are driving. Rentals are cheap and it provides the most flexibility. We are then driving to Lisbon. You can return car there and fly to Barcelona. Have a great trip,
Don
I don't know the previous poster's plans, but most rental companies charge a huge drop-off fee if you rent in Spain and return in Portugal.
