We are planning our trip to Barcelona next April with our twelve -year-old grandson and would like to take him to a Santa Semana procession in a smallish town. Looking for suggestions of where we could go on a day trip, or even for one or two nights. One year in Sicily we attended a Good Friday procession in Enna, and I’m hoping the area surrounding Barcelona will have something equally as spectacular.
Also any recommendations for where to stay in Barcelona with him would be appreciated. Thanks!

You should check via Google etc when the procession(s) take place. Some small places may have only one, probably Good Friday. Others have traditions of a whole week.
