Hello. My wife and I will be in Italy this spring and are planning a trip to Basque country and Bordeaux in May. We're looking for advice on best way to get from San Sebastian to Bordeaux without having a car. All suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Take the train, one change is needed in Hendaye. Buy your Hendaye-Bordeaux ticket from www.sncf-connect.com (there are both regional trains and TGVs available), the train from San Sebastian/Donostia to Hendaye is a local train operated by Euskotren, www.euskotren.eus, and no need to buy the ticket in advance.
