San Sebastian hotels sea view or old town

Your question may be too generic...budget? preferences? type of preferred accommodation?

Have been browsing on web .

Take a look on Booking.com to get some ideas. That site has a number of search keys that you can pick, including "Sea View" and number of stars. The map function is also handy, might help in determining whether the "Sea View" is really a view, or one of those "If you lean out the window and between the two buildings, that blue thing is..." type places. Just be prepared, during the main season, rooms fill up and, in my experience, are some of the most expensive in Spain.

Thx for the suggestions.. I've been doing a lot of reading and reviews... I look at bookkng.com for ideas then usually book directly with the hotel.

We are looking for off season away from summer crowds.

If it didn’t need to be specifically San Sebastián since it will be off season, take a look at Hondarrbia 12 miles down the coast. A great hotel is the Parador. It’s up on the hill in the heart of the old town and is in the 10th-century Castillo de Carlos V.
