I've learned October is still expensive in San Sebastián as I am searching for a hotel as a solo traveller. I do like nice accommodations in a central location, easy for walking. Some of the hotels names that keep popping up are either sold out or prices have jumped to $600 - $700 per night. Typically I spend around $250 - 300. USD per night but for this one week in San Sebastián I can jump up to $400 plus, a night. Hotel Londres is around $500 a night for a sea view and Hotel Lasala Plaza's website claims to be sold out all month (October).
