I will be traveling through Salamanca mid week of the Féria de Salamanca. What happens on a Wednesday night? What is the normal dinner time in this part of Spain? Any tapas bars or live music?Suggestions and ideas would be appreciated. Will be staying by Plaza San Blas.

Dinner in any place in Spain seldom begins before 8:30pm. Tapas are available at any bar. Since you’ll be there during a Féria, there will be live music throughout the festival. Here’s a link to an article on the program from the Salamanca paper. It has everything you need to know.
It takes place 7-15 September. Based on information in the link, the Plaza Mayor will be converted into an acoustic plaza 10-12th. On Wednesday the 12th, the soul singer Flore M will be performing there. It appears there will also be 7 performance of the musical Dirty Dancing between 12 and 16 September. There’s too much information to recount here.
