We will be in Salamanca for 4 nights in early March and I'd love some recommendations. We prefer smaller hotels and would like to keep our nightly cost under €100 (so €400 total). Ideally the room won't be tiny and will have a chair or two. An apartment would be even better. We don't need to be right in the middle of the historic center, happy to be within a 20 minute walk. Thanks!
In fall 2021, I enjoyed 2 nights at Sercotel Las Torres — reasonable rate, perfectly adequate for my needs, and right on the main square.
thanks! It's on my short list of hotels
We stayed here and it was great

Stay in a Paradore. The price is in your budget.
While Ihaven’t stayed the the Salamanca Parador, I’m a huge fan of them. The Parador is a mile walk from the cathedral and within your price range.
The Ciudad Rodrigo Parador that KGC mentioned is an hour’s drive away. It is in an old castle with a good view of the surrounding area from the tower.
If you will have a rental car, there are some interesting small towns/villages within 1-1.5 hours drive of Salamanca including Béjar, Granadilla, Alberca, Mogarraz, Alba de Tormes, Ávila, Medina del Campo, Zamora, and Tordesillas to name a few.
