Hi, I just booked my tickets for Sagrada Familia online (for March 22). The ticket is for 10 am and the tower visit at 10:15 am. Do you think I will make it in time after picking up the audio guide equipment. Is the line for the tower very long in March and how much in advance do you have to stand in line?
I would get to the entrance to the sight 15 minutes or so before your 10 a.m. entry time. The tower entrances are inside the church. The kiosk to pick up the audio guide is inside the gate but outside the church (and to the left) . You will need to check any large bags at the entrance to the tower. The lockers are free, but you need a €1 coin to lock it; you get the coin back when you open the locker. There won't be a long line for the tower because of the timed entry. If it is long, check with the staff - people with later times may already be in line. I don't remember the audio guide having any info on the tower, so if you are short on time, you can always go back and pick up the guide after you descend from the tower.
Great! This is super helpful. Thanks Chani.
