Would it be better to visit Sagrada Familia at 9:00 am, at opening, or after 4:30 pm. We will purchase tickets for the building and tower. We'll be there Friday April 21, 2023 ,
We went in April and got inside at 10am. The light was just right and I took some beautiful pictures of the stain glass on the walls. Morning would be best IMO.
I would go early, and when you are done with SF, walk about 10 minutes to Saint Pau. You may wind up preferring Montaner over Gaudi.

Was there last Sept. and joined the 09:00 tour. It was perfect! The sun was shining in just right for me to get fantastic photos of the windows and unique, beautiful reflections on the floor. Because it wasn't full yet, these photos were possible. After the tour, I roamed around for a few more hours, outside and inside as well as in the museum. By the time I left, the place was packed. Was so glad to have been there early before it got full.
We were there first thing in the morning, and were able to take beautiful photographs before it became too crowded. The audioguide was great and allowed us to visit at our own speed, rather than on the schedule that the tour guide wanted to follow.
Thanks for the responses.
Just purchased tickets for 9:00am.
