Is a guided tour recommended for Sagrada Familia? Going with a 10 year old, this July. How do I make sure the guided tour is during the pre-sunset time? Are the ones offered by Get your guide worth it? Thanks!
I took a guided tour of Sagrada Familia several months ago and I felt that it ws worth the cost.
I bought my guided tour from the same site where I booked the admissions. I guess that was the Sagrada site. I believe that I was in a. group for senior citizens so I got a senior discount.
My memory has faded some but i think there were choices about time and I picked. a time that worked for me.
Sagrada Familia is huge and magnificent.
While it was crowded, it also was comfortable. There were many groups inside receiving. a guided tour. We were given a gadget that we put over our arm and then we put ear buds in our ears so we could hear the guide even if we were in the back of the group. In fact, I could break away from the group and walk around while still hearing my guide. There were many places to sit down and still hear our guide. That I liked.
But the earphones kept falling out of my ear or even ears. I do not like ear buds anyway and I do not like the gadget that we were given which we put over our arm. Still it is.a good way for everyone to hear what the guide is saying when a group is large or there are many groups having a guided tour at the same time and in the same place.
I am not certain that a 10 year old would like a guided tour.
Thank you, very good to know. Appreciate your information shared.
I don’t think a guided tour would work with a ten year old. At that age you need to be flexible and the tour is a fixed time schedule , no wandering off if something catches your interest.
