I was looking at the different tours on Sagrada Familia and it says "audio tour not available for children 12 and under". Does anyone know why? My kids love audio tours. Would it be possible to bring an extra set of headphones and use a splitter? Or is the audio tour device a complete unit?

It's because their ticket is free. We just got back. You could share an earbud (which we did). I believe a splitter would also work but I don't remember exactly if it was plugged in or connected. I believe it was a plug.

IMPORTANT: under 6 y.o. ARE NOT allowed in the towers. That's for security should an evacuation for any reason be necessary. Same goes for people with mobility difficulties. These two groups won't be allowed up the towers.

I found a picture. It is a plugged in set of earbuds. Therefore a splitter should work just fine.
