Sagrada Familia and Park Guell tickets

I have read about buying tickets ahead and go to the tower, there are two towers which is recommended?
And looking at the Sagradafamilia.org website , can I buy for both or do I buy each individual? "Seniors" box does not state how old that is . Does anyone know if is 60 years or 65? Also, how far ahead of trip in June should I buy them. Oh one more question is there "time slot" I have to pick?
Thanks!

Hi Sandy - I can't answer your question about choosing a tower. Otherwise:

You need to go to the websites for Sagrada Familia and Park Guell to buy tickets. You could probably find a tour on Viator that includes both, I wouldn't recommend that approach unless you only have one day in Barcelona.

The fine print on the Sagrada Familia website is in Spanish, but a "senior" is at least 65.

I bought our tickets for both about a month in advance. I am a bit/a lot OCD and reserve things as soon as my plans are set.

Yes - you will need to pick time slots for both attractions.

I highly recommend that after you finish visiting Sagrada Familia, take the 10 minute walk to the Saint Pau Modernista site - a former hospital complex. It is amazing.

Have a great trip!

I was in Barcelona in October 2016. We had no tix for any sites, so we stopped into a tourist agency in the general vicinity of the Cathedral and got tickets for the next day to La Sagrada Familia and the Picasso Museum. No problem, and only a very modest fee was charged. OCD folks might want the security of knowing weeks in advance when they are visiting places, but this is vacation time, and I like a little flexibility. I realize this was October and that June is different, but I'm willing to bet that tickets to most everyplace are available with only a little forethought.

Edited to say that in no way shape or form do I have any negative feelings about OCD folks. I used to be married to one and things went very smoothly when we traveled. ;-)

I also didn't go up a tower so have no opinion there. I think if you Google "which tower at Sagrada Familia" you will find some information to help you.

You definitely don't have to rush to make those reservations now for a June visit. Whether you can wait until the day you get to Barcelona--that I am not absolutely sure of. That's what I did in 2016, and I was there in August. But I had ten days in the city (no, it was not really long enough for me), so I had all the flexibility in the world. I think it depends on how many days you'll be in Barcelona and how many of the other buy-in-advance sights you want to see. For most visitors, it's not just those two, but also some combination of:

Casa Mila/La Pedrera
Casa Batllo
Picasso Museum (which I do not recommend unless you're really interested)
Palau de la Musica Catalana (requires a tour)
Camp Nou soccer experience (this one probably does sell out way ahead of time)

The best way to handle Barcelona if you have enough time is to book your specific entry times one per day, first thing in the morning. This does two things: Gets you into the sights when there are no holdover tourists still hanging around and prevents having to guess how much time to leave between the appointments at Sight #1 and Sight #2. The latter is not a trivial problem on a very brief trip to Barcelona. Those entry fees are rather high (often about US $25), so you don't want to have to leave early to get to the next place. But if you pad the schedule too much, you may have lots of little 20-minute breathers standing around outside of sights.

I bought my tickets at the city tourist office beneath Placa Catalunya. There was a surcharge of 1 euro per ticket. The office didn't sell tickets for the La Sagrada Familia towers or for the Palau de la Musica Catalana.
