I have been looking on line and can't seem to find the answer. Do you have to buy the whole package, entrance, audio and tower and then buy the elevator tickets at the Basilica? Or can you just buy the basic entrance fee and then get a tower ticket when you arrive?

They offer a combined ticket entrance to the church and tower. Which is 29 euros.

The Basic ticket 15 euros does not include a tower.
But you can buy entrance to the tower once inside.
I fear that you might find all tower access sold out if you wait to buy the ticket once you arrived, but that is just my pessimistic guess. If you definitely want to ascend one of the towers but are concerned about figuring out the timing, I'd suggest booking the tower for an hour after your church entry time. If you haven't finished viewing the lower level before you enter the tower, you can return to the lower level afterward.

I purchased the Passion Tower package including the audio.
The reason I questioned whether we needed to get the audio tour , is last time we wasted a lot of time waiting in line for them.
We will just by pass that line and go right into the Basilica.
9:00 entry with 10:15 tower entry.
We will want to take the lifts, so not quite sure how that works?
Does anyone know if buying the basic or combined ticket lets you skip the line?
