I have been told many times to be careful renting apartments in Spain. Can you please recommend a couple "safe" websites for apartments in Madrid. I have been told to stay in La Latina district. It looks lovely, can someone second this for a family with 2 teenagers that wants to be centrally located and close to metro station.'

We used Booking.com. We got 2 bdrm apartment just north of Grand Via. Only 7 min walk to city center. Apartment building was recently renovated so it was very nice. Little space for storage so I recommend carry on luggage only in Madrid. The apartment was call Madrid Central Suites. They probably have website. I think you can book directly through them as well.

We booked from Spain select for Madrid and had apartment Cava Alta II a one bedroom place near the Cava Baja tapas street. Excellent company; beautifully prepared apartment; would book them again for a Madrid trip. Was one of three apartments we rented in Spain on that trip and by far the best.
