Can anyone please recommend Rural Lodging (Agriturismo) around La Rioja Alavesa? We are looking for a comfortable stay but love the country side and interacting with their people.

In Google maps, plug in “ agroturismo, Rioja Alavesa, Álava, Spain” and a number show up. I don’t know anything about any of them. We stayed in Olite and Santo Domingo de la Calzada, both small towns.

This place is in Rioja Alta. It is called the Medieval Suite. It is right on the Tiron River, by the medieval bridge.

In Rioja Alta, Hotel Teatrisso. Not a rural house, but a 17th century manor house in the center of this small, beautiful town (Cuzcurrita del Río Tirón). One of the quaintest places I´ve ever stayed. In Rioja Alavesa, in Laguardia, Erletxe is a good option in town, also a small community.
