RS Tours of Spain

How much time off do you have? Do you like guided tours? I have taken the Best of Spain and it was educational, fun and interesting. Highly recommend it.

Also, I was mistaken on the length of the My Way tour. It is actually 11 days.

Have you been to Spain before? We just finished the RS My Way Spain, but it was our second visit with a similar itinerary, so we had already done some of the major sites with a guide. In today’s busy travel world, there are few major sites for which you can get walk-up tickets, so it requires more effort and thought to book what you want to see. People on our My Way Tour who hadn’t booked ahead weren’t able to see major sites. Even the Seville Cathedral, which isn’t listed as one vital to book ahead was sold out a week in advance for our visit.

Read the itineraries of both and decide which one you like.

The Best of Spain tour provides a lot of tours and transportation that you might have trouble getting tickets on your own, like Sagrada Familia. The tour also provides some of the group dinners. The many guides on the Best of Spain were excellent and provided information that made us understand what we were seeing and doing.

The My Way Spain Makes YOU plan what you want to do, including finding your own dinners. There is no tour guide. You are on your own to decide what information you want to know about each site. I would only do this if you don't like anything the Best of Spain tour is going to do and visit or if you have been to Spain before.

For example: Best of Spain in Barcelona goes on a lot of guided tours and walks including Sagrada Familia. It also includes group dinners.

My Way Spain: gets you to Barcelona, but you have to book your own tickets to Sagrada Familia and any other site. And either book your own reservations for dinner or find your own dinner.
