Ronda to Granada

Hello!
My wife and I will be in Spain this June.
I have been looking at different options of traveling from Ronda to Granada and can't seem to find a clear answer about whether the rail construction is finished and what the exact current options there are for traveling between both towns.

Has anyone does this recently and could possibly give some insight?

Thanks a bunch!

Trains are still running 4x/day, and never stopped running. But construction is not finished, so a portion of the route may be replaced by a bus ride (still ending at the train station). Rick's book indicates that regular buses on this route (www.alsa.es) require a connection at Malaga or Antequera, so I don't see any advantage to the bus, unless it's just a better departure time for you. As noted recently on other threads in this Spain forum, the Granada bus station is not as centrally located as the train station.

As above - it is little hardship to transfer in minutes from the train to the bus.

There is no direct bus - one change and it would be near twice the journey time to the train/bus combination.
