Does anyone know if there are any wine tours in the Rioja similar to the ones in Barcelona where they pick you up via bus or van full of people at various hotels or meeting places say from Hero or Laguardia and take you around to several bodegas. All I have been able to find is private tours with limos asking big amounts. I would appreciate any input

I spent quite a bit of time looking this winter. Everyone I contacted was more than happy to put together a private car tour, in a Mercedes or similar, for 500-1000 Euro pp for a day. They would individualize the trip, but that price was too steep.
Good luck, hope you find something. Ribera del Duero is nice as well if you can find something.
Too bad, I think they are missing the boat on this.
