The night visit doesn't go inside the Nasrid Palace. The Alhambra is a large complex - not just one building. The ticket clarifies that you visit the Generalife Gardens and the palaces around that section but NOT the famous Nasrid Palace. That is not on the night ticket. I am not sure about other parts of the complex - Charles V, Alcazaba, etc.

Here's the page with the summary of available ticket types: http://www.alhambradegranada.org/en/info/ticketsale.asp

If you want to see the Nasrid Palace at night, here's the ticket you want. I could only get it in Spanish, so you may need Google Translate. Or you can buy it there; I don't know for sure, but I don't think the nighttime visits sell out the way the daytime ones do: http://apc.ticketmaster.es/nav/es/mucho_mas/granada/alhambra_y_generalife_09oz/alhambra_nocturna_palacio/entradas.html?canalMB=ALH

Note that a nighttime visit, while interesting, is not a substitute for a day visit; at night, only certain parts of the palace are open.

The one you linked to specifically says
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: Night visit to the Generalife gives no right of access to Nasrid Palaces, as there is a specific night visit for this spot lit at the same time."

If you want Nasrid palace at night, you want this one
http://apc.ticketmaster.es/nav/es/mucho_mas/granada/alhambra_y_generalife_09oz/alhambra_nocturna_palacio/entradas.html?canalMB=ALH&utm_campaign=ALH-weboficial&utm_source=alhambra-tickets.es&utm_medium=link&canalMB=ALH

The Nasrid one has you pick a time band, which is what you need. If the ticket you buy doesn't ask you to select (or assign you) a specific time for the Nasrid palace, you won't be visiting this palace. I just went through the purchase process as far as I could go on the one linked above (in Spanish but self-explanatory) and had a choice between 10PM and 10:30PM for Nasrid entry. This is what you want.

It is entirely a matter of opinion, but many years ago we found the night visit greatly inferior, due to poor lighting, and not particularly romantic. I thought it was a waste of time. Eat at a Carmen with a view of the Alhambra instead. If you can't afford that, go up to the Mirador at sunset.

I very much enjoyed the night visit to the Nasrid Palaces and thought it was pretty romantic. I went before seeing the Alhambra during the day. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much, had I done the reverse. I was pleasantly surprised at how different the Nasrid rooms looked in daylight.

I've gotten conflicting views. For the night Palace tour do you get to go inside? Thanks

With a nighttime Nasrid Palace ticket, you get to see part of the Palace. You do not get to see the whole Palace, and you do not get to see any other part of the complex.

There are TWO options for a night visit. The Alhambra is a very large campus with many buildings and gardens. Among the buildings are the Generalife Palace and the Nasrid Palaces. The Generalife Palace is considerably smaller and includes extensive gardens. The Nasrid Palaces are a large complex of adjoining rooms, no gardens to speak of. They are in different parts of the campus. Decide which one you want and buy tickets for that one.

I have read that the Generalife gardens are very beautiful. I was there in February when the gardens were far from spectacular.

As Harold said, a night visit should not be an alternative to a day visit but rather an addition to it.

Thanks for the info. I've been to both during the day on a previous visit. I am going to go on the Night Palace visit.

Were you able to take the bus up and back or walk like during the day?
Is the entrance the same as visiting the Palace during the day?
Any other tips to enjoy the night visit?
I am planning on doing the first 10:00 pm entrance.
