To travel from Altea, Spain to Alicante, would a rideshare be an option? It's about an hour ride, it seems, and there is bus service, but it would be nice to get service directly to our hotel, with all our luggage. Anyone know? Thank you!
We did a similar trip a couple years ago and found a direct car transfer well worth it, especially with luggage. The bus system is decent, but hotel-to-hotel service saves a lot of hassle. YouTube has a few travel vlogs showing the Costa Blanca route — search https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uehu5HT8aj8 or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0Ilsxz9xp0 snake game and you’ll get a good feel for the journey.
I must be the only person here who is unfamiliar with the term "rideshare."
Is this where a group of people who do not know each other are driven in a van from place to place, and if so, how does one arrange that in Spain?
Like an "airport shuttle" in the US..??
