Rick Steves recommended tour guides in Barcelona

We are arriving in Barcelona a few days early for our Best of Spain in 14 days tour. We are interested in finding a tour guide to help us explore gardens and the architecture of Barcelona that are not included in the tour.

Some places that sound interesting to us are: Park Güell, La Boquería Market, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, and Palau Güell.

Does anyone have any recommendations for tour guides or tour companies that focus on architecture or gardens?

Thanks,

Ann

I have visited all of the places you mentioned. You DON'T need a tour guide to bring you to these places.

Just research how to get there, how to buy tickets and what to expect.
Once at the locations, you can do their guided tours at each site.

At Park Guell- book the guided tour of the monumental area.

The Boquieria market is an open market that you wander around and look at fruits and vegetables. Do you really need a guide to do that?

La Pedrera has its own tour. Book tickets for that
Same with Casa Battlo
And Palau Guell has an audio tour.

For architecture, I would add the Palau de la Musica- there's a tour
and Recent modernist sant Pau- there is a self guided tour

I'm with Derek... you don't really need a guide for visiting Barcelona.

Yet, if you are into very specific "niches" (ie. architecture, beyond the basics), there is plenty of offer around (ie: https://www.gabarcelona.com/). It'll all depend on what your niches are. Yet, don't expect to pay peanuts for this type of guide service.
