Rick Steves Best of Spain trip

Hi, my friend and I are doing the Best of Spain trip which ends after breakfast on Sept 13. We are hoping to fly out that day but the flight is at 9:00. Does anyone know how important or eventful the last breakfast is? We don’t want to stretch the trip out any longer than that and the next day is a Saturday so it would be a busy travel day at any rate.

Many folks don't make breakfast on the last day. The goodbye dinner the night before is the send-off event. There is no gathering at breakfast.
Have a great trip!

Breakfasts during RS tours are not formal events. Each hotel has breakfast available for several hours (usually a buffet) and each traveler goes to breakfast at their convenience, depending on the day’s schedule. People with early flights often miss the final breakfast.

Your guide will also likely help coordinate transport for various departure times - when I took this tour several of us shared a taxi to the train station for our similar departure times. The hotel may (or likely may not) offer a grab and go option for a pre-dawn departure, you'll have to ask. I am not familiar with the Sevilla airport so others can advise how much time you need to allow to check in, but if you're able to do so through the airline the night before that would be a good idea, especially if you're transiting through a larger airport on the way home (Madrid, Barcelona)
