Ribera Del Duero wineries

you might like the Peñafiel Castle. It is the Provincial Wine Museum and a cool castle.

Peñafiel castle is very nice. We visited it back in 2007.

Nothing to do with wineries, but there are a number of nice castles in that area: Coca, Cuellar, Pedraza, and Portillo. Each is best seen from the outside so wouldn’t take long to see. Near Ribera Del Duero is the pretty Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. If you like walking, nearby is Desfiladero de La Yecla. Near it is Santo Domingo de Silos, site of Sad Hill Cemetery from the 60s movie The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. It’s down a dirt road.

Does anyone know if the castle/museum offers tours in English?

For tours in English, from reading trip advisor reviews many said you will need someone to translate so im assuming not.
