Restaurant in Madrid

We are planning to have a road trip starting from Madrid and ending in Madrid. Staying a day or two then flying back to NY. On the last day in Madrid I want to make a surprise to my wife and take her to a great restaurant to celebrate her birthday. I am looking for a classy restaurant with guitar, dance, show, nice food. Any recommendations? I’ll get in touch with them and will make a reservation. Thank you guys.

Plenty of restaurants with nice food.

What exactly are you looking for in terms of live music though? That really narrows it down. There are fine dining restaurants that have live music. I actually went to a pretty affordable, and absolutely fantastic italian place that had live music. But, do you want the restaurant to specifically has a flamenco show? I'm a bit confused.

Thank you for your reply. I love Italian restaurants. But as we are in Spain it’ll be interesting to enjoy the local music: guitar and dance. But I am open for any nice restaurant with modern European food, music, songs and dancing.

OK, I don’t know if you’re going to find a nice restaurant that includes a flamenco show every night. Flamenco is also more of a southern Spain thing as well.

I would look at restaurants in Barrio Salamanca if you’re looking for upscale. TATEL Madrid has live music almost every night I believe.

In my search for dining options in Madrid, I booked a private dinner in a house with views of the Royal Palace. We loved how personal the experience felt from the start, and our host was very accommodating with all our requests. This is a unique option for dining in Spain and would be perfect for celebrating your wife’s birthday. I did in this website: https://sazonthefolkcook.com/en/experiences/eva/spanish-dining-menu-with-the-best-views-of-the-royal-palace-and-sabatini-gardens-in-madrids-historic-center
