We are planning to have a road trip starting from Madrid and ending in Madrid. Staying a day or two then flying back to NY. On the last day in Madrid I want to make a surprise to my wife and take her to a great restaurant to celebrate her birthday. I am looking for a classy restaurant with guitar, dance, show, nice food. Any recommendations? I’ll get in touch with them and will make a reservation. Thank you guys.
I was in Madrid the last year and I strongly recommended Astor. Fantastic atmosphere and food. But not live music...
Thank you
Plenty of restaurants with nice food.
What exactly are you looking for in terms of live music though? That really narrows it down. There are fine dining restaurants that have live music. I actually went to a pretty affordable, and absolutely fantastic italian place that had live music. But, do you want the restaurant to specifically has a flamenco show? I'm a bit confused.
Thank you for your reply. I love Italian restaurants. But as we are in Spain it’ll be interesting to enjoy the local music: guitar and dance. But I am open for any nice restaurant with modern European food, music, songs and dancing.
OK, I don’t know if you’re going to find a nice restaurant that includes a flamenco show every night. Flamenco is also more of a southern Spain thing as well.
I would look at restaurants in Barrio Salamanca if you’re looking for upscale. TATEL Madrid has live music almost every night I believe.
Thank you. I’ll check them.
Thank you
As far as I know, and I am not a resident, the only "classy" restaurant with great food and flamenco in Madrid is Corral de la Moreria. You MUST book in advance. Other than that, choose between great food and music/dance.
If you are going south, I would look for flamenco there.
Thank you for your advice.
Two days ago I made a reservation and already have the confirmation number.
