YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were just there in November. We got the impression from a few sources that at that time of year reservations wouldn't be necessary. Well, we learned differently. I would say for the Alcazar in Sevilla (if this is the city you are looking at) should be obtained for any time of the year. Also, definitely if you are interested in the royal apartments. When we were there, they were sold out for 3 weeks.

No reservations needed for the Alcazar in Jerez. Which alcazar (fort/castle) are you referring to? Seville? Toledo? Córdoba?

Not needed for the one in Almeria either. Might be needed for the one in Segovia, but probably not that time of year. When we last visited the one in Sevilla (late October 2011), we did not need them. There was no line at all.

Jaimmee, Unless it was a fluke, I would say you need advance tickets for Alcazar in Sevilla, year round. We were there at the beginning of November 2018 and we'd been told we didn't need advance tickets. Ended up waiting at least an hour for tickets

Early Nov 2017, I just lined up before opening, but knew the Royal Apartments were already sold out for the day.
