Does anyone have experience purchasing two seats for one person on Renfe (similar to what you might do for airlines if you'd like additional space)? When I try to connect to the part of the Renfe website for questions, it comes up as an invalid link. I'd appreciate hearing from travelers who might have experience with buying two seats.
We are actually traveling with one person who uses a wheelchair. The wheelchair is too big to fit in the luggage/stroller area but we are happy to purchase an additional seat. The person does not like to train travel in the wheelchair.
In the event that the wheelchair user, must only be in the wheelchair, my husband is very tall and would need two seats for comfort since Renfe doesn't offer a wheelchair H seat in the Confort section.
