RENFE AVE Trains Advanced Reservations

How far in advance do you need to purchase Rail Tickets/Reserve Seats for AVE Trains through the RENFE website for Rail Travel in Spain to get the maximum discounted price on one-way train bookings?
I know you can not always find tickets available too far out in advance is 30 days out a good time window ?

If you want the cheapest fare, monitor the schedules as you see fit until all appear and move promptly. The days of whatever amount of days in advance and the cheap fares appearing are long gone. 90 days used to be the case on many train AVE routes but certainly no longer.
