We will be visiting those cities and would like to watch a few World Cup soccer games with some crazy Spanish fans. Go, Canada!
We are staying near Plaça de Catalunya, Plaça de l'Ajuntament and Plaza Mayor.

Do not expect "sports bars" as in your country. Bars will have a TV and most will be showing the match that´s on at that moment, but not with several TVs showing differents sports at the same time, it´s not like that over here.
I don't know if I understand what you mean by sports bars. In Spain as mentioned above we have bars with a TV in them, if the world cup is going on they'll probably have that playing in the background.
If you're searching for a communal experience watching the games some of the times in the main plazas of the major cities in Spain I've seen a huge screen TV setup that locals can all watch together, like a giant viewing party.
@carlos - A sports bar in the U.S. will have many televisions, some showing the same game while others show different games or even sports. Within sight of your chair you could watch for example football, baseball, basketball and American football all at the same time. Very much unlike the bars in Spain where everybody watches the same television.
jaimeelsabio - thank you for the explanation, I think I've seen those only in the United States.
i'll just ask each hotel. Spain is one of the favorites at the World Cup so I am pretty sure there is going to be lots of fun places to gather with local fans to enjoy the games.
