My family (2 adults and children aged 6 and 9) is spending a week in Barcelona in mid-May and we plan to rent an apartment. We are currently focusing our apartment search on L'Eixample or perhaps the lower part of Vila de Gracia. We'd like to spend no more than around $200-250/night. 2+ bedrooms and WiFi are necessary. Can you recommend a great place?

On the edge of the L'Eixample, down a side street near La Sagrada Familia, Aparthotel, 2BR, 2B,W/D, full kitchen, balcony, helpful front desk staff, very good restaurant on premises-"Hispanos7Suizas".
We stayed in Negre aparmtnents which are in the Eixample in 2013, and were very happy. I notice on the website that many of the apartments now require a stay of 31 nights, but it appears some rent for shorter times.
You can also try the www.cross-pollinate.com accommodation site, which is more selective than the biggies.
