We will be traveling to Barcelona 10/11/17-10/15/17 and are looking for personal guide recommendations/ contact info. We would be interested in a one day tour guide.

You might check with Spanish Trails. They offer a variety of tour options in and around Barcelona. We have booked 3 activities with them.

Your schedule looks like 4, maybe 5, days (and nights?) in Barcelona. Are you looking for a personal guide for the first day you're in the city, with a plan to return to some of the venues later on your own, or are you committed to other things for the balance of your time (and the 1 day tour is your only tour). If the 1 day is your only day to "see" Barcelona the tour would possibly be only a "drive by" as there are so many great places to visit--museums, modernista architecture, parks, etc., you could only scratch the surface in 1 day. Keep in mind with a RS guidebook, and a Knopf City Map guide and maybe Guide to Barcelona AAD (Art, Architecture, Design), you could get around quite nicely on your own. Public transportation is superb and inexpensive (see another post I made concerning buses in Barcelona), and not run out of places to visit for all your time in the City.
