Recommendation for Malaga

Hi, I am only going Malaga for one day Sept 3 and departing sept 4
I want to any central location so I will have easy access to beech ( visit couple of hours) and then got Picasso museum. Any recommendation to have easy access to all three, beech, museum and the airport.

I searched and found Fuengirola but not sure much about it.
