Any recommendations for reasonable overnight lodgings near the Bacelona Intnl Airport (Prat) We have an early departure to Frankfurt. Thx!

How early? The airport is not far from the city center, and early in the morning a taxi will only take about 25 minutes (if that) and shouldn't be too expensive. My personal preference is always to stay in a city rather than an airport hotel if possible, and I certainly wouldn't change hotels in Barcelona just because of an early flight. Of course, if you're just coming to Barcelona to fly out the next day, an airport hotel may work well.

We have a 7am flight and have not yet reserved a hotel. Leaning toward an airport hotel w/free shuttle, if there are any...thx

The Aerobus from Placa de Catalunya (where there are many hotels) takes half an hour and can get you to the airport by 6:00, assuming no major disruption. You may still choose an airport hotel, but I don't have a recommendation for one.
