We'd like to buy tickets now, if possible, for a Real Madrid match this spring at Santiago Bernabéu. The official Real Madrid site doesn't offer tickets for sale until a few weeks before the game. In Rick's Spain book he mentions a Madrid agency that sells both soccer and bullfight tickets; we have emailed them, fingers crossed. Does anyone have any seating advice for Santiago Bernabéu, or for another place to buy tickets online if the first agency doesn't work out? Thanks!
If the agency doesn't work out, I do not recommend trying to find another. I recommend waiting until the tickets are released to the public on the Real Madrid site and buying from there. If the match isn't a Champions matchup or against Barca you shouldn't have a problem securing a ticket from the actual site. They are, however, expensive no matter where you buy the ticket from and the agency will mark up the tickets even further.
Madrid does have another team. Athletico plays just south of La Latina and the tickets are less expensive than Real.
There are two other teams in Madrid, Getafe and Rayo Vallecano. But they play way outside of the city center. Way outside.
Real Madrid play in a huge stadium and tickets are easy to purchase via the official site. Be patient:)
If you must use a resale site head here:
Thank you all so much for the tips!
