Could someone tell me if the section of the ticket purchase page where you add your personal info and it says "NATIONAL IDENTITY DOCUMENT OR PASSPORT *" - are they looking for the passport number or simply that you will use a passport as your identity doc upon entry.? Passport number. Spaniards will have a national ID number.

Yes, I am wondering if the venue wants the passport Number OR for me to put in the word "Passport" to indicate I will use my passport for id when I get there. Seems like most places are asking for the number (without ambiguity), so I'll just do that.

I purchased my ticket months ago and had to enter my passport number. I've also had to enter my passport number on other ticketing sites.

yes they want the number; also, bring the passport with you because they'll verify.
