Trying to zero in on a flamenco performance time (7p or 8:45p). I have Alcazar tix at 2p. About how long should I plan to stay in the Alcazar? Sadly, I missed the apt. tix, but I do love to roam and will use the RS book + audio guide. I also hope we can spend some nice time in the gardens. Is three hours enough? too much? I'm leaning toward the 7p show - but know I should arrive a bit early for seats, and am trying to work out how/when to eat a snack (at least). Tx!
Hi, the other piece of the equation is how long you will wait with even a timed ticket to enter the Alcazar. I was there last week, and the crowds are heavier this year than the last two years. Three hours there sounds good, once you’re inside.
Also, if you’re interested, there’s an amazing illumination show walking a route through the gardens at night. It takes an hour to walk through it. Get tickets ahead of time.
There is a great Flamenco show at the Hotel Alcantara!!
Thank you.
@jean - I have not seen the light show advertised on their website. Where would I find out more?
It’s the Naturaleza Encendida. I just looked up the website, and it’s only showing two other cities now. Looks like Sevilla’s is finished for the season now. One of the cities still showing is Cordoba, and that one was closed for renovation while I was there last month, so they refunded my tickets.
Here’s a tiny amount of it. It’s spectacular! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cURgfMmE2QY&pp=ygUcbmF0dXJhbGV6YSBlbmNlbmRpZGEgc2V2aWxsYQ%3D%3D
Oh wow! So cool. Sorry we're missing it. Guess we'll just have to go back!!
