rain in Andalusia

I see a lot of rain in the forecast for October, the time I will be visiting Granada, Seville, Cadiz, and Madrid. I know its way to soon for it to be accurate, but I am still wondering what the rain is like in Spain. Are we talking torrential down pours, or entire rainy days, or just short rain showers? Curious to know what I'm in for. Thanks!

Their forecasters are no better than ours. While a forecast may show rain, it may just be morning or evening showers. On the other hand, it could be a torrential downpour that causes major flooding. It might be sunny in Sevilla with downpours in Granada. It’s anybody’s guess and you won’t know until you’re there.

The rain in Spain falls mainly on your train.

Sorry, somebody was going to go there.

Generally when I've been in Andalusia in October the weather has been great, most of the rain I've experienced has been March/April time and on occasions that rain has been all day, every day for an entire week. However, on the run up to my trips I always check the forecast and the closer it becomes the forecast often changes. The rain hasn't been torrential just persistent.

October is our favorite month for visiting all parts of Spain.
Often blessed with wonderful weather.
Never been washed out an an event due to rain, simply so many things to do inside as an alternative.
Do not worry about the weather as it is simply part of the journey.
